Job Description

2U is seeking a Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis, Special Projects to join our finance team. This role leads FP&A activities and special initiatives that support strategic decision-making across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning for programs and the organization.
• Develop and maintain robust financial models and scenario analyses.
• Drive special projects to improve efficiency, profitability, and strategic outcomes.
• Prepare timely management reports, variance analyses, and executive dashboards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to translate business plans into financial targets.
• Support monthly closes and ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Provide ad-hoc analyses to inform strategic decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• 6+ years of FP&A experience; experience in higher education, edtech, or a fast-growing tech environment is a plus.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial modeling; experience with SQL and data visualization tools a plus.
• Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation
