Overview
2U is seeking an Analyst II, Marketing Strategy and Analysis to support data-driven marketing initiatives. In this role, you will analyze campaign performance, build dashboards, and provide insights that influence strategic decisions across the marketing organization.
Responsibilities
- Analyze marketing campaigns across channels to measure performance, attribution, and ROI.
- Develop, maintain, and present dashboards and reports using SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate data into actionable recommendations.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning for marketing programs.
- Communicate findings effectively to stakeholders and drive data-informed decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in marketing analytics or data analysis.
- Strong SQL and Excel skills; experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
- Experience with digital marketing analytics and attribution modeling.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment in Cape Town.
Nice to have
- Experience with Python or R for data analysis.
- Knowledge of marketing platforms such as Google Ads, Meta, and LinkedIn.
