Senior Technical UI Artist – 2K
Overview: Senior Technical UI Artist at 2K is responsible for designing and implementing high quality user interfaces for our games. You will collaborate with UI/UX designers, artists and engineers to deliver polished menus, HUDs and in game interfaces across platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with designers and engineers to implement responsive, performant UI systems.
- Design and build production ready UI assets, menus, HUDs and interfaces that align with 2K's visual style.
- Prototype and implement UI workflows, animation states and transitions; work with shaders and visual effects as needed.
- Optimize UI for performance, accessibility and cross platform compatibility.
- Participate in art reviews and maintain documentation for UI assets and pipelines.
Qualifications
- Strong portfolio demonstrating game UI design and implementation.
- Experience with Unity or Unreal Engine and frontend UI systems.
- Proficiency with Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects or similar tools.
- Knowledge of UI animation, layout, typography and visual storytelling.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills; ability to work with cross functional teams.
