2K is seeking a Senior Environment Concept Artist to shape the visual world of our games. You will craft immersive environments and concept art that define mood, atmosphere, and storytelling. Collaborate with Art Directors, designers, and 3D artists to translate creative concepts into high-quality in-game assets.

Responsibilities

Create high-quality environment concept art including landscapes, interiors, exteriors, and urban spaces.
Produce sketches, color keys, lighting studies, turnarounds, and mood boards.
Collaborate with Art Directors, designers, and production teams to maintain visual style consistency.
Iterate concepts based on feedback and technical constraints; contribute to IP/style guides.
Help establish environment art pipelines and maintain asset lists.

Requirements

5+ years of professional experience in environment concept art for video games.
Strong portfolio showing environment artworks with depth, lighting, and composition.
Proficiency in Photoshop; experience with ZBrush and a 3D package (Maya or Blender); Substance Painter.
Familiarity with Unreal Engine or Unity and PBR workflows.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.
