Overview
2K is seeking a Manager, Social & Community Marketing - Sports to lead the social media and community initiatives for our sports titles. You will shape the voice of our games, drive engagement across platforms, and build a thriving, passionate community of players.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the social media and community strategy for sports titles.
- Lead and mentor a team of community specialists; manage content calendars and briefs.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Brand, Product, and Live Ops to plan campaigns and live events.
- Foster relationships with gaming communities, influencers, and partners.
- Create engaging content across platforms (X/Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Discord, Reddit) and oversee live events.
- Monitor community metrics, report results, and optimize strategy based on data.
- Manage crisis communications and maintain positive community sentiment.
Requirements
- 5+ years in social/media marketing, community management, or related roles in gaming.
- Experience leading teams and cross-functional collaboration.
- Deep knowledge of sports gaming and community ecosystems.
- Proficiency with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Sprout Social) and social platforms (X/Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Discord, Reddit).
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to translate product goals into community content.
- Bachelor's degree; or equivalent experience.
