Job Description
2K is seeking a Localization Producer to lead localization projects for our games from Montréal. You will coordinate with internal teams and external vendors, manage timelines, budgets, and quality across languages to ensure global readiness for launches.
Responsibilities
- Plan and manage localization projects end-to-end for game titles
- Coordinate with development, QA, product, and marketing teams
- Work with external localization vendors and freelancers; manage SLAs, budgets, and vendor performance
- Maintain glossaries and style guides; ensure consistency in terminology
- Ensure accurate localization of in-game text, UI, audio, subtitles, and marketing assets
- Oversee QA testing for localized builds and coordinate bug triage
- Track milestones, risks, and deadlines; manage localization calendars
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support launches and post-launch updates
Requirements
- 3+ years of localization production or project management experience in video games or media
- Experience with CAT tools (e.g., SDL Trados, MemoQ) and localization workflows
- Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
- Familiarity with QA processes and testing for localized builds
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
