Localization Language Lead - French

Role overview

2K is seeking a Localization Language Lead - French to drive the localization strategy for our game titles. In this role, you will lead the end-to-end French localization process, ensuring high-quality translations, cultural relevance, and consistency across in-game text, marketing materials, and QA content. You will manage terminology databases, coordinate with product, marketing, and development teams, and oversee external vendors to deliver on schedule for international launches. This role requires strong linguistic expertise, project management skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional player experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead French localization strategy and execution across game content, UI, and marketing assets
• Develop and maintain terminology glossaries and style guides
• Coordinate with Product, Marketing, and Development teams to plan releases
• Manage external localization vendors, timelines, and quality assurance

Qualifications

• Experience in game localization or software localization
• Strong command of French (native or professional) and excellent editorial skills
• Familiarity with CAT tools and translation memory workflows
• Project management experience and ability to work with cross-functional teams
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in linguistics, translation, or related field
