About the role
2K is seeking an Italian Localization Specialist to provide high-quality localization for video games and related marketing content. You will translate and adapt in‑game text, polish UI strings, ensure cultural accuracy, maintain terminology glossaries, and collaborate with QA, product, and marketing teams to deliver Italian experiences.
Responsibilities
- Translate and localize in‑game text and UI elements into Italian.
- Review and QA localized content for accuracy and consistency.
- Maintain terminology glossaries and style guides.
- Collaborate with developers, QA, marketing, and product teams.
- Suggest improvements to localization processes and documentation.
Qualifications
- Native Italian or near-native proficiency.
- Experience with standard CAT tools (e.g., SDL Trados, memoQ).
- Familiarity with video games and localization standards.
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
