2K is a global video game publisher dedicated to creating immersive experiences for players around the world. We are seeking a Game Localization Specialist to help bring our games to Traditional Chinese‑speaking players from Shanghai and beyond.

Role Overview

As a Game Localization Specialist (Traditional Chinese), you will translate, adapt, and QA game content into Traditional Chinese, ensuring accuracy, tone, and consistency with our brand voice. You will collaborate with product, engineering, and QA teams to deliver high‑quality localized content on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Localize in‑game text, UI, marketing materials, and support content into Traditional Chinese.
• Develop and maintain terminology glossaries and translation memories.
• QA localized builds to verify linguistic and functional accuracy.
• Ensure adherence to style guides, terminology, and regional nuances.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to meet deadlines for live releases.
• Identify localization issues and coordinate fixes with engineering and product teams.

Requirements

• Native‑level Traditional Chinese with strong English skills.
• Experience with CAT tools and translation memories (e.g., SDL Trados, MemoQ).
• Familiarity with gaming terminology and UI/UX localization constraints.
• Strong proofreading, editing, and attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate with teams in Shanghai and manage multiple localization tasks.

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience with localization QA processes and testing.
• Familiarity with game engines or file formats used in localization.
