Game Localization Specialist (Traditional Chinese)

Job Description

2K is seeking a Game Localization Specialist (Traditional Chinese) to join our Tokyo team. This role focuses on translating and localizing video game content into Traditional Chinese, ensuring culturally accurate and engaging experiences for players. You will collaborate with product, QA, and external vendors to maintain quality, style, and timely delivery.

Responsibilities

• Localize game UI, in-game dialogue, subtitles, and marketing content into Traditional Chinese.
• Maintain terminology glossaries and style guides; ensure consistency across all releases.
• Coordinate localization workflows with cross-functional teams to meet project timelines.
• Review localized content for quality, and support QA testing notes.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native Traditional Chinese with strong English communication.
• Experience in video game localization or software localization.
• Familiarity with CAT tools (e.g., SDL Trados, memoQ) and QA processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Bachelor's degree in translation, linguistics, or related field is preferred.
