2K is seeking a Development Manager to lead our Valencia, Spain software development team. You will drive delivery, mentor engineers, and collaborate with product, design, and QA to create outstanding games and software.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of software engineers, testers, and related roles to deliver high-quality software on schedule.
Define technical strategy, architecture decisions, and development processes.
Partner with product managers to align roadmaps and priorities.
Recruit, onboard, and coach team members; manage performance and development plans.
Foster a culture of quality, automation, and continuous improvement (CI/CD, testing, deployment).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams across time zones and departments.
Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements where applicable.

Requirements

Proven experience leading software development teams at a management level.
Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
Experience with agile software development methodologies.
Ability to define roadmaps, allocate resources, and manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment.
Experience in game development or large-scale software projects is a plus.
Fluent in English; additional language skills are a plus.
