📋 Description

• Join the Detection Engineering team in Security Operations.
• Build detections, alerts, and automation with SOAR/SIEM and DLP.
• Collaborate to correlate data and improve security signals.
• Create and maintain detector rules for MongoDB environments.
• Shadow engineers to grow security skills.
• Contribute to security monitoring across environments.

🎯 Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s in Cybersecurity, CSI, CS, or related field.
• Foundational info security: CIA triad, least privilege, threat detection, incident response.
• Networking concepts and knowledge of threats or malware behavior.
• Python scripting and automation experience.
• Interest in SIEM/SOAR, DLP, email or SaaS security tooling.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; graduation Fall 2026 or Spring 2027; at least one quarter/semester left.
