Job Summary:The Senior Solutions Consultant role will accelerate new bookings, expansion, and renewal ARR by demoing the 15Five platform to prospects and customers by persona and outcome. The SC is one of the highest level platform solution experts in the business. Time will be spent perfecting demo paths, storytelling, influencing, and working collaboratively with Product, Sales & AM Leadership, AEs, and AMs to win deals.

Areas of Focus

  • Serve as the top expert on our product/service, understanding all technical aspects of the capabilities and how it all fits into prospect or customer processes and outcomes
  • Build and conduct demo flows by persona/outcome/sku with a specialty either in the prospect or the customer motion
  • Serve as an expert in HR tech and related trends to bring into deal conversations
  • Have compelling customer stories memorized and inserted into demo flows
  • Know and show best practice use cases
  • Confidently right-size demonstrations of our platform to executives
  • Help drive deals forward with AE or AM by serving as the on-demand technical expert
  • Stay up to date on competitor functionality and points of differentiation
  • Support revenue teams with video creation, second voice emails, or other activities that support winning ARR for the organization
  • Bubble product gap/market gap themes to leadeship to influence the roadmap
  • Manage pre-deal execution of pilots/POCs as needed
  • Support a managed trial process or ROI calcs as needed
  • Fill RFPs or infosec forms as needed
  • Support our Sales Enablement team in the development of product/service-related training for 15Five sales staff as needed
  • Required Experience

  • Successful track record as a Solutions Consultant in the tech space
  • Draws energy from being consultative and influencing people
  • Experience working in the HR tech industry preferred
  • Expertise in market-facing activities, ability to handle tough buyer questions and technical aspects of tech platforms with ease
  • Experience and comfort interacting with implementors or executives
  • Strong technical skillset and understanding of how features flow into real-world outcomes
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous start-up environment where things can break
  • Genuine passion for 15Five’s mission and vision
  • Milestones

  • By The 1 Month Mark:
  • Completion of 15Five’s new-hire on-boarding and job-specific training for the SC role
  • Identify needs for your team and role, and build out your OKRs for the quarter
  • Comfortable with our team's selling process
  • Built a foundational relationship with cross-departmental stakeholders in CX, Product, and Marketing
  • Be able to do level 1 demos of all core products
  • Level 1 understanding of competitive knowledge
  • By The 3 Month Mark:
  • Actively working live deals with AEs or AMs, doing an average of 10-12 prospect demos/week
  • Established as a liaison to a specific product offering with a PMBe a product/Transform master: know and be able to demonstrate the entire solution (software+Transform) to executives, technical leaders, and end users.
  • Consistently apply restraint to knowledge in sharing minimum screens necessary to win VOC
  • Demonstrate your increasing expertise on people operations technology and industry trends by contributing to driving deals forward during the sales process
  • Mastery of competitive landscape and demo flows for differential demos
  • Contribute internally to improving demo flows and internal processes
  • See cumulative 12+ SC-attach deals won with AEs or AMs
  • By The 6 Month Mark:
  • Be a subject matter expert in HR tech and trends
  • AEs and AMs feel you’re driving real value in their deal navigation
  • Support the Sales team in winning $35k+ ARR contracts with regularity
  • See cumulative 30+ SC-attach deals won with AEs or AMs
  • Sample Week in the Life

  • Monday: 1-3 prospect demos or technical meetings (online / in the field). Develop understanding around the deals you’re working on and what projects you’re running. Plan out your week and prep for demos, send out appropriate communications. Team meetings.
  • Tuesday: 3-4 prospect or customer demos or technical meetings (online/ in the field). SC team meeting.
  • Wednesday: 2-3 prospect demos or technical meetings (online/ in the field). Roadmap or technical training with Product team.
  • Thursday: 3-4 prospect demos or technical meetings (online/ in the field).
  • Friday: 1 prospect meeting. Collaborating with Strategic AEs on meeting schedules and project deadlines for the upcoming week. Self-reflect on your wins, challenges and growth over the past week and share with your manager in your weekly 15Five check-in report.

Within the range, individual pay is determined by budget allocated for the role and additional factors, including job-related competencies and skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Please note that the compensation details listed in US job postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits. The US new hire base salary range for this full-time role is base salary $139,000 - 165,000 + equity + variable + benefits.

    Note that base salary ranges are reviewed each year based on up-to-date market data, and team members who are performing are eligible for a merit increase, budget permitting.In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire.
