Why you want this jobAs a Software Engineer at
SeekWell, you will work with a team of developers developing applications that power our business. These include mostly backend services (Rest and SOAP), as well as some internal applications. Your team will craft solutions, write tests, and collaborate with QA to release to production. Working closely with our Product Manager through our Kanban flow in Jira, you'll help coordinate and prioritize work that matters. Work Environment- Hybrid: Work from home with 1 day per week onsite in Draper, UT.
- Occasional on-call rotation to support our 24/7 production systems.
- Develop and maintain platform services and internal applications using C#, SQL, AWS, and modern web frameworks
- Create and maintain code that seamlessly integrates with 3rd party services
- Build comprehensive automated tests to ensure quality
- Participate actively in collaborative code reviews and pull requests
- Support and contribute to our CI/CD pipeline processes
- Complete projects independently or in a pair while collaborating effectively with the team
What You'll Need:
- We welcome applicants with a B.S. degree or at least 4 years of equivalent experience in a specified area of computer science.
- 1-5+ years of professional experience in C# and T-SQL
- Experience in Cloud Technologies
- Ability to efficiently tackle problems and troubleshoot issues as they arise
- Growth mindset by looking to improve through effort, accepting challenges, and staying positive, with a focus on learning new skills and systems
- Able to complete projects with minimal direction and guidance
- Ability to work and communicate well in a collaborative technology team environment
- Must have a proactive outlook to anticipate and plan future needs and solutions
- Able to troubleshoot production systems
- Willing to take and give constructive criticism
