Ascend is a technology company that provides data-driven solutions to help organizations solve complex community health problems. Formed out of a unique collaboration between the Greater Dayton Area Hospital Association and three major hospital networks (Premier Health, Kettering Health, and Dayton Children’s), we are uniquely positioned to serve all communities to address their most complex health problems, including mental health, addiction, chronic diseases, and social determinants of health. Our business model is two-fold. First and foremost, we provide quality technology services to community health organizations as our core strategy for sustainment and growth. Secondly, as a fundamental tenet to the formation of Ascend, we seek to identify products that are commercially viable through these service engagements to create scalable spinout companies. Positiv.ly, LLC, a mental health application for high school students, is the first spinout of Ascend. In terms of culture, we value drive, trust, accountability, perseverance, and community.
